Welcome to this amazing tour. This trip takes you to the most popular savanna National Park in Uganda. Also popular for it’s resident tree – climbing lions in the ishasha area. For early pick up, transfer to Queen Elizabeth Np. Do a morning game drive the next day, sighting herds of buffaloes and elephants, lions, Ugandan kob, Nile crocodiles, hippopotamus among others. A boat excursion follows after lunch. On day 3, go chimp tracking in Kyambura Gorge. Return to Entebbe. End of tour.

Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
For early pick at the hotel 7:00 am, or at the airport. This safari starts. Our tour/driver guide will meet and welcome you to the Pearl of Africa getting to know each other as you drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This Park is the most popular savannah park in Uganda and the best place to see lions including tree – climbing lions. The Park’s diverse eco-systems including sprawling savanna, shady, humid forests, sparkling lakes and fertile wetlands make it ideal for classic game viewing, primates and over 600 bird species.
This journey from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park is approximately 8hrs with a stop to have lunch. You will arrive in the afternoon or evening. At the end of the day, you will relax in your accommodation, enjoy dinner and ensure you have a great night’s sleep in preparation for the following day’s activities.
Day 2: Game drive in the morning and boat excursion in the afternoon
Early in the morning, have breakfast, and get ready for a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park that will give you a first glimpse of herds of elephants plus lions, cape buffaloes, and leopards (hard to spot) among others. You will return to the lodge and make time to rest and also have lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a 2 hour boat cruise on Kazinga Channel that connects lakes George and Edward. You will have some great sights of huge hippos, elephants and crocodiles on this boat ride not forgetting birds on the water shores.
Return to the lodge and relax, have dinner and a good night sleep.
Day 3: Chimp tracking in the morning and a road trip back to Entebbe
Early in the morning, have breakfast and drive to the visitor’s center close to the Gorge where you will be briefed on what to do. You will then be assigned a walking stick and guides to lead you to the gorge. You have a task, first to walk down the 200 meter slope to the river down in the valley. You will then start looking for the Chimpanzees. Once you locate them, you will be able to watch them play, breast feed, mate, rest and even fight. Return to the lodge to have lunch, and check out for a road trip back to Kampala arriving late in the evening.
