Safari Overview
This is the best tour experience for a first-time safari. You have a great chance to spot the Big 5 (leopard, rhino, lion, buffalo and elephant). The safari will give you a great overview of the southeast and southwest of Kenya. It covers the main parks in Kenya which will give you a memorable experience. Spend 3 nights in the Mara to give you enough time to catch the wildebeest crossing. The best time to see the migration is from July to October.

Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: Masai Mara
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by our airport representative and proceed to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve via Narok Town. Arrive and commence on a game drive. Check in and have lunch at Enkorok Mara Camp. Go on an afternoon game drive and then drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Masai Mara
After breakfast at the camp, proceed for a morning game drive in the reserve with packed lunch boxes. In the afternoon, go on a game drive until sunset. You can visit a Maasai village this afternoon (at extra cost). Later, return for dinner and an overnight stay at Enkorok Mara Camp.
Masai Mara offers an absolutely unique variety of animals. The reason is that this hilly region is both humid and fertile and is crossed by the Mara and Talek Rivers which carry water the whole year round. The rivers are full of crocodiles and hippos. The banks of the rivers are covered in thick forest which gradually makes way for bush and grassland. The abundance of water and excellent availability of food are the reasons why the Masai Mara (which is a continuance of the Tanzanian Serengeti National Park) has the greatest population of wild animals in the whole of Africa. There is a particularly dramatic “spectacle” from July to November, the annual migration of huge herds of gnus and zebras.

Day 4: Nakuru
After breakfast, you will drive to Nakuru. Arrive in time for lunch and check in at the Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in Nakuru National Park. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley lakes at an elevation of 1,754m (5,755 ft) above sea level. It lies to the south of Nakuru, in the Rift Valley of Kenya and is protected by Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake’s abundance of algae attracts a vast quantity of flamingos that famously lines the shore. Other birds also flourish in the area, as do warthogs, baboons and other large mammals. Eastern black rhinos and Southern white rhinos have also been introduced here.
Day 5: Amboseli
After breakfast, you will drive to Amboseli Game Reserve where you will arrive in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure. In the late afternoon, go for your first game drive. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to elephants among other wildlife species.
The ecosystem is mainly savannah grassland, spread across the Kenya-Tanzania border. Other attractions of the park include opportunities to meet the Maasai and enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak and the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Even though the majestic Kilimanjaro is located in Tanzania, the best view of it is in Amboseli National Park which is strategically located at the foot of the mountain. From the prehistoric site of Observation Hill, the sunset over Kilimanjaro is magnificent. Your dinner and overnight will be at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
Day 6: Nairobi
Enjoy an early sunrise game drive in Amboseli National Park. After breakfast, we drive back to Nairobi. We have a late lunch, go on a city tour and do souvenir shopping before we drop you off at the airport.
